There were many intelligent ministers in the kingdom of king Akbar and Birbal is on the top of the list, therefore the king respects and honor Birbal more and completely rely on him but there were many closed one’s of the king who wants to replace Birbal. One day a relative of king said to him that he shouldn’t have to rely solely on Birbal, and he should give a chance to him as well.
The king said “okay, I am going to give you a task, I am giving you 300 coins and you have to spend it in such a way that I will get the benefit of 100 coins in this world, 100 coins in next world and 100 coins should be wasted”. He took those coins and went to his home and tell his family whole story, when everyone failed to find a solution, they all came up with the solution that he should ask Birbal for help.
He went to Birbal and asked for his help and Birbal keeps the coins and said, “we will meet at king’s palace next day”. Next day all the matter disclosed in front of king and the king asked “Birbal tell me how you spend those coins?”
Birbal replied: “king I took those coins and went out of my house and I saw that there was the wedding of a rich trader’s son in our kingdom and I gifted him 100 coins on your behalf and he felt very proud that king remembered him on this occasion and as a return he may sent you something as a token of gratitude?
The king replied that “yes; I got it”
Birbal continued: “this is what you get return in this world, then I went to the village of poor people and distribute 100 coins on your behalf, those people can’t give you anything in this world, but they prayed for you and you will get benefit in the next world. Then I went to an entertainment and musical party and spend remaining 100 coins there in entertainment, and those coins are wasted like that”.
The king appreciates Birbal’s wisdom and reward him.
Moral:
Similarly, we all have number of breathes, what we are doing with it is our choice, we can get return in this world by spending whole life selfishly, we can get return in the next world by spending whole life selflessly and helping other people or we can waste it by enjoying and entertaining us. 
Keep in mind that we must answer God why?
